Photo Freeze Frames Ice-breaker Game

by Rachel Yeo
(Singapore)

Ice-breaker Game Objective: Students will learn to be comfortable being themselves and not yearn to become someone else or be like someone else.

Materials: A variety of magazines, shopping catalogs, newspaper clippings, photographs or other images that show groups of people in action.

1. Divide the group into teams.
2. Randomly draw from the images
3. Have all groups imitate the same image.

4. The first group to get in the same poses as the chosen image gets a point.

To make it more difficult, allow only one participant from eachgroup to see the image and then they must go back and form their group into the correct pose.

(Ice-breaker Game Variation: Choose images containing props and make those props available)
