Energizer
Time: 5 minutes
Props: 2 bowls or baskets, paper
Write an activity on a small piece of paper, fold it up and put into 1 of the baskets e.g. lead a cheer, do jumping jacks, jogging in place, high knee lifts, Mexican wave etc. You need about 20 activities in all. Note - need to be appropriate for age and ability, and the number of activities can be tailored depending on group size and available time.
Write 2 sets of numbers 1-20 and put 1 set in the other bowl
Distribute the other set of numbers to the participants.
Periodically throughout the session you will call a number. The person who has that number must come up and pick the activity from the bowl and then lead the group in the super quick energizing experience.
This gets people up and out of their seats for a good stretch.
