"My Name Is" Adjective Ice-breaker Game

by Mary Andrews
(Bangalore,india)

I use this game generally before starting my training session.

Trainees are asked to introduce themselves by choosing an adjective which starts with the first letter of their name. For example, my name is Mary so I would introduce myself as Mysterious Mary.

This makes the trainees remember other trainees names easily .

The second things they should do is tell us one secret which they have not shared with anyone.

This actually gets the trainees talking.

Hope this for works for you too.

Yes this icebreaker should take about 15 to 30 minutes depend upon the number of participants. This works well at the start of any programme which encourages people to think creatively. Ask each person to prefix their name with another word that describes them or hobby interest of theirs. The twist is that the initial letter of their name must be the initial letter of the characteristic. Once they got thought of their new name they start introduce themselves. falcon marketing
