This works really well to motivate participants and tell them what they need to do to get the best from the training or what by the end of the training they will get.
Participants are asked to blow up their balloons and then write something negative on the balloon like their fears, weaknesses or maybe answers to questions like what wastes your time, what give you stress and so on. You will need about 3 to 5 balloons per person.
People get energized and focused, and many are so motivated that they make sure the get one step of getting rid of those things after or sometimes even during workshop.
Let them choose the colour which they don't like so it is more fun bursting the balloon. When all the balloons have been written on, it's time to throw the balloons up in the air and start popping them.
Good luck, by the way this is tried and tested.
