Hi,
March - Management for the Rest of Us
I have the pleasure of knowing a successful young entrepreneur…. who runs
a chocolate factory.
And after weeks of miserable Scottish winter weather, she needed a boost. And
her team needed a boost too. So it got me thinking about motivational activities
and how you can get your people perky again.
This coincided with the publishing of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel
and Development 2006 study of employee attitudes and engagement.
Almost half (43%) are dissatisfied with their relationship with their line
manager, while one third (30%) say they rarely or never get feedback on
their performance.
Now I know my newsletter readers are more enlightened than that, but it
never harms to brush up skills and maybe get some new ideas. So here
are 7 Team Work and Motivation Tips
and 7 Motivational Activities You Can Do Today.
Have more fun at work today! And if you're tempted, the marmite
chocolate is worth the risk!
Warm Regards

Lyndsay
Swinton
